Going to call it an early night the next few nights.
Friday morning I have an important interview; Saturday I have to get up and out around 4 am to head down and get in position for my Oprah interview. So much so that I might go to bed at like 6 pm Friday, wake up when I wake up, and stay awake; dunno.
Have to figure out which is the best approach to turn up at my sharpest!
I am excited about it, though; I feel like my ship is coming in.
Realistically though, if this isn't my break I'll keep pushing until it shows up; but obviously I'd like this to be the one, lolol.
So let me tell you how this works, in case you don't know:
The audition on Saturday is a cattle call to see who is going to get selected to be on the show, which I assume will be something like American Idol for positive types, the winner of *that * gets their own show.
The video I did is once chance for me to be selected, the live audition is a second time. And out of the people with the top 5 votes, at least one of them is guaranteed to make it onto the show. So in a way, there are 3 chances to qualify to get onto the show, to compete...for a show, lol.
I'm not sure how long it will take for them to notify contestants, since you can still upload videos to the site through June 26, but the show starts filming in June; so relatively soon I'd imagine.
The way I see it, though, is if I can make it onto a national platform, I've already won. Since I know that whether or not I 'win' I'll be able to spin it into another break and then another.
Amazing to think that in a few short weeks all of my dreams could be in hand!
(Don't forget: Oprah auditions are still going on; please vote often (you can do it many times, on multiple days); if you aren't a US Resident please leave a comment!)
