OK, so I heard back on a writing position I *really * wanted...and they were full.
BUT
They said they liked my stuff and will let me know when the next spot becomes available, so I guess that's a plus. In the meantime: keep pushing!
I shot episode 52 on Trust and Forgiveness, but I can't seem to get it to upload to Facebook; apparently it wasn't time for it to post properly.
And I wanted to write some articles, but Examiner.com was down for maintenance!
Oh well. I took the time to keep sending out resumes / writing samples. I think you've probably caught on to the fact that I'm looking for stead(ier) work now; the ups and downs of doing it all myself are getting to be a bit too much to bear.
So I'm looking to pick up a writing position somewhere (ideally) or something within my skill set that pays enough to still let me do my writing projects on the side. It may not be ideal, but we do what we have to do. I've got my eyes on the prize though, so if pulling double (or triple) duty is what it takes until my books / proposals are done and sold (or I get cast for a TV show), then that's what I'll do.
So if you know someone looking for a chatty smart guy willing to telecommute, lemme know!
