3 weeks left on the Oprah auditions! (see below, hehe)
So I met Leonardo Da Vinci today...at least as close as is possible to get to him now!
I got to go to the Getty Center here in LA and see an exhibit of his sculpture and of people who influenced him, and who he later influenced.
It was interesting to see his journal pages, written backwards (as he did) but each page is just random bits of genius; notes on how the human eye works, how water flows, and sketches for a statue of Hercules, all on the same page.
Amazing stuff.
I did take something significant away from it, and from some other 'signs' I've gotten recently.
Basically I've been giving over too much power to fate and circumstance.
Too much 'I hope this happens, but if it doesn't then I'll do this†type thinking.
Not that it's bad to have a back up plan (I always have several) but the power is in my hands to make Plan A the plan that succeeds.
I know I'm talking vaguely, some of you'll understand now and some will understand later; the point is: dig in my heels and go after what I want; or as Hannibal said:
'Aut Viam Inveniam Aut Faciam' - Latin for "I'll Either Find a Way or Make One"
