What are the most basic of things one could start doing to get on the road (& thought process) of being/thinking positive. Longtime worrier here, plus not the most positive person. Baby steps? Please tell what they'd be for me to start on the right path.

I'd say the first, second, third, fifth and twelfth steps are to learn to get a handle on your fear.
