The Matrix trilogy is the finest trilogy ever made in the history of anything ever.

Yes, we definitely live in a world of illusions, but it's because of the limitations of our perception (until we learn to see past it); I don't believe we are in any way trapped, just not really paying attention. And as such, we don't see things as they are, we see them as WE are. =)
