Do Something

(Another gem from my e-mail coaching that I'd like to share with you all)

Do Something - Take Responsibility

A man distraught by all the pain and suffering he saw all around him broke down and banged his fists into the dirt.

His head turns upward and he yells at his God.

"Look at this mess. Look at all this pain and suffering. Look at all this killing and hate. God. Oh God! WHY DON'T YOU DO SOMETHING!!"

And his God spoke to him and said

"I did. I sent you."

How To Be A Winner

(Here is something I sent out as a part of my e-mail coaching that I wanted to share with all of you)

The Winner - is always part of the answer
The Loser - is always part of the problem

The Winner - always has a program
The Loser - always has an excuse

The Winner - says "Let me do it for you"
The Loser says "That's not my job"

The Winner - sees an answer for every problem
The Loser - sees a problem for every answer

The Winner - sees a green near every sand trap
The Loser - sees two or three sand traps near every green

The Winner - says "It may be difficult but it's possible"
The Loser - says "It may be possible but it's too difficult"

Since you're so good at boiling things down for simple-minded folks, can you please explain The Urantia Book. I read the Wikipedia page about it and I'm still confused. Thanks :)

Hooo man; I think the U-Book is second only to they Keys of Enoch in complexity!
Basically it's (supposedly) the entire recorded history of the Universe, and even some other universes. How and why God created everything, how life came to exist on earth, where Jesus came from, what he taught and why.
If you're still curious here are some really great resources you can use:

Better Life 2011 Day 1: 1/ 1/ 11!

Another year is upon us, and thank God for it!

2010 was full of ups and downs, but despite some serious challenges I have to say it was a good year all things considered.

Now we face the broad undiscovered country of a new year together; how is it looking so far?

I’m writing this very late in the day on 1/ 1 / 11 (a great date), and I am looking at this year with renewed focus. I am not setting grand specific goals like I did last year, rather I am looking at positioning my whole life in a new way. Basically if last year was like planning on buying furniture and knocking down walls, this year is like planning to move to a whole new country!

The number one question I have for you is not about your resolutions, since resolutions don’t really matter. In my experience, resolutions are a list of things people write down on December 30 and have forgotten completely by February 1.

My question, then, is what is the number one thing you had in your life in 2010 that you *don’t* want to bring with you into 2011?

What can you do to make sure you leave it in the past?

Decide quick and get after it; the new year is already here and passing!

And remember:
You are great, and I love you!
