Best Life 2010 Day 58: Good, Good....
Best Life 2010 Day 58: Good, Good....
I had a good day today.
Woke up and had a very productive business conference call, then shot the next 2 episodes of All About You (one of which is posted here: http://ping.fm/JjV3B and had a coaching call with one of my Clients that I think was very productive.
After that I hung with the family and a friend of mine came over and we nerded out watching super hero animated movies.
The board is set, the pieces are moving....
All in all, a good day.

Best Life 2010 Day 57: Journey To The Mountaintop
An unusual day.
I had a pretty big breakthrough in my meditation, which is difficult to explain here; but all I can say is it was MIND BLOWING. I think I broke through more of my few remaining barriers. It's a strange thing; I always THINK I have, but the the proof is in the pudding. Or, effectiveness is the measure of truth, or, it doesn't matter what a person says; look at the results they are getting.
And obviously, this whole year is about getting bigger and better results!
This month FLEW by, but I feel like I made some good progress, even if I didn't do every single thing I meant to. When I was still working for a salary, the first of the month seemed to take forever to arrive; now that I am all commission it seems like the first comes all too quickly, hehehe.
No matter what I am happy though; things are going well and are becoming better than ever. Trust in the Force, I do. =)

Best Life 2010 Day 56: I DID IT
I FINALLY finished my redesign of my website; I added in some new individual coaching options, and added a full Business Services section:
http://ping.fm/dEdcl
I still have more work to do, I can polish it indefinitely; but at least it's up and finished! If you are interested in working with me one on one, or are in Business for yourself be sure to check it out!
I feel better today; like I finally completed a major project!
And as soon as I have finished it, it's like the energy has drained out of me like a balloon.
I will sleep very well tonight. =)

Best Life 2010 Day 55: Where does the time go?
Best Life 2010 Day 55: Where does the time go?
I swear, I look up every day and it's 3 am!
Like just a blink, and it's so late that it's early!
At one point, I had started to feel guilty about my sleeping habits, but the fact is I still put in 12-16 hours or work a day; they just occur in the wee hours of the morning, hehehe.
I got some work done on the car and have continued with my website overhaul. Part of it is taking so long because every little step takes a lot of effort, and part of that is...I don't know where the time goes!
But I am truly excited about this grand new adventure. I think it is just the thing to help me achieve the financial aspects of my goals for 2010.
After all...I kinda told the whole world I was going to make massive amounts of money this year; the least I could do is actually work to make it happen!

Best Life 2010 Day 54: I'm A Money Magnet!
All my fellow Millionaire Mind fans might remember:
I'm a money magnet, thank you thank you thank you!
I have been manifesting money out of nowhere lately; at first it was just a couple dollars but the numbers have been getting larger...so thank God for that!
Everything is moving in the right direction!
I also shot and uploaded the show (a day early, no less!)
http://ping.fm/zDZYH
And I also shot the spots for my website, and did the first half of my overhaul. Peacelovemoney.com is my first website I've ever created, so every little thing I do takes effort. Especially HTML, that is a mine field! Hehehe.
Unfortunately, I have created a monster! I have shown Charlene how to use a lot of the same tools and sites that I use and now she's hook! Lexi just work up at 3 am and we had to haggle to see who'd put her back to sleep!
Oh well, no rest for the wicked. =)
All in all, a good day.

Best Life 2010 Day 53: Everything is proceeding according to plan
Well, I was off Facebook the entire day and STILL didn't finish everything I meant to do, hehehe. But things are going WONDERFULLY well; I manifested some unexpected money, and my work is starting to reach people in new ways in new places.
All in all, everything is proceeding according to plan.
I feel good, though. My mental game was a bit off for a few days there, but the Universe always provides, so what do I need to worry about?
But, I still have things to do and even LESS time to do them in now! So if you don't see me online as much, I'm not ignoring you.
You know I love you =)

Best Life 2010 Day 52: Beauty, Power, and Confidence
Hmmm. I didn't accomplish many of the things I set out to do this weekend, but I guess that's what makes it a weekend!
But in the process I DID get the episode shot and uploaded, and another article written and posted; not to mention help some people through some spectacularly difficult situations.
I also saw a couple of movies, Black Dynamite was HILARIOUS, funniest movie I've seen since Borat. But it's not for the easily offended; so my highly spiritual Brothers and Sisters may need to steer clear, hehe.
So tomorrow I have to finish my website redesign, and shoot my new promotional spots for my business offerings. Got to get this ball rolling, so we can have that party at my Dream House. =)

Best Life 2010 Day 49: The Big 3-2
As promised, an attempt at being insightful!
Oddly enough, I used all my insights to shoot Episode 12 of All About You: Life.
But I can say for certain, I am glad to be alive.
My birthday was good; low key, just like I wanted. I was a little disappointed because we missed the pizza buffet I wanted to go to, but we had pizza and wings for dinner so I was satisfied.
As you may have noticed, I am VERY easy to please. Let me sleep in, gimme coffee, pizza (not at the same time though, ick), and maybe a little cuddling and I'm all set.
I wish I could say my 31st year was a good one, but as you know 2009 was BRUTAL for me. But it ended well, and I'm alive, so I have to file it as a positive.
Ok, so insight:
Nothing in this world is guaranteed. Not only is it guaranteed, it is not even owed to us. If God strikes either of us down tomorrow, the only thing we can say is thank you for the time we were given. So make the most of it; you don't know how long you have left! God willing it's another 100 years; but if you knew it was only another 100 days, I bet you'd do things much differently.
Think about it, as you arrange your priorities in life; and always keep the main things, the main things.

Best Life 2010 Day 48: Last Day of 31
Funny story: It's 4 am ON my birthday now, so I am going to cut this one short!
I managed to get my new meditation recorded and posted to peacelovemoney.com; beyond that I have been overwhelmed by all the affection and well wishes coming to me from all over the world; I TRULY appreciate it.
Beyond that, I think I got my head around all the business things that are before me, but I'll talk about it later.
Tomorrow when I do my official birthday blog I promise to be all insightful and introspective; for now I am going to sleep!

Best Life 2010 Day 47: Patience, Discipline.
It feels so weird to think my birthday is in 2 days; I don't feel any older at all. Just seems like another day!
But I am happy to have made it another trip around the sun; God willing I'll have 150 more of them. I guess I'll get all reflective ON my birthday; for now I have 24 more hours of youth. Well, not YOUTH; but more youth, hehe.
I have totally figured out my business strategy for 2010, but I am still sadly not excited. I guess I have to MAKE myself get amped up about it. Or, maybe once I start seeing the checks roll in I'll perk up naturally, lol.
As of now, I still only want to do this. Hopefully my February promotion will catch on and buy me so more time to focus on writing and producing content.
Speaking of, I got Episode 11 shot and is currently uploading; check back and it should be up today! It will post on my profile first, and then on my fan page. A by product of the late hour and my program's limitations, LOL.

The Bald Man and the Fly (Aesop's Fables)
There was once a Bald Man who sat down after work on a hot
summer's day. A Fly came up and kept buzzing about his bald pate,
and stinging him from time to time. The Man aimed a blow at his
little enemy, but acks palm came on his head instead;
again the Fly tormented him, but this time the Man was wiser and

Not only have I been staying up EVEN LATER, but I got Charlene staying up late now, too; hehehe.
It's my own fault tonight; got hung up watching Inglorious Bastereds. Interesting, but I don' tthink ti's best picture material. Not when it's up against Avatar!
I put up a new promotion on my website in honor of my birthday; 50% off everything until the end of February; another way of me trying to give in order to receive.
And for everyone reading this, especially those of you who have purchased any of my programs or become one of my coaching clients: thank you so very much for your support. Even you taking the time to read this, makes everything I do possible. =)

Best Life 2010 Day 45: Happy Singles Awareness Day!
Hehehehehe.
So a strange thing happened: on the way out to visit family for Valentines, I had a tire blow out on the freeway. It was no big deal; but because I had to put on the little donut tire on we ended up having a quiet evening at home.
Apparently, we weren't meant to go out there today.
Which is another interesting thing that happens to me: things go wrong, but go wrong in the absolute best way that they can.
For instance, the tire blew but it blew in an area where I could safely get the car off to the side of the road; was able to change it easily. It was the back right tire; if it had been one of the front ones it could have been very dangerous!
The point is, it's like the Universe protects me, even when the normal issues of life come up.
I'm not sure I am explaining it clearly...but the point is it's all good, LOLOL.

Best Life 2010 Day 44: I Know What's Bugging Me!
I figured it out!
As much as I accomplish in a day, I didn't work out or write my articles like I planned to, and that left me feeling unfulfilled. That's what has been under my skin!
And, I realized something else:
I kind of went into crisis management mode last week, and this week I got perilously close to making the same mistake I council people against: I almost rolled right over to fixing the next problem, without stopping to celebrate this victory! It's like I won one the championship game, but was about to skip the party to get ready for next season!
But, I'm back on track now. =)
I also realize (as I think I said yesterday) that I need to write something every day, so that is my new commitment. I'll get caught up in no time doing that.
And I also am going to start diving deeper into my spiritual work, but I'll keep it separate from All About You, lest I offend people who aren't interested in going too far down God's rabbit hole. Instead, I'll post my work up on Peacelovemoney.com and anyone who's interested can go there and check it out.
As long as I'm creating, I am happy. =)

Best Life 2010 Day 43: Where does the time go?
A strange thing has been happening:
Over the last 3 days or so, I've felt like the days just FLEW by and I didn't accomplish ANYTHING! But then again, when I look back I have things to show; the only thing is I am falling way behind on my articles.
Dunno what's up with that, just need to dig deeper to make it happen. Write something every day, even when I have a video to shoot.
Really, that's the challenge: it's not easy to stay interesting in my videos, help all my clients and people online, be a business man, husband and daddy.
But I guess if it was easy, it wouldn't be so rewarding. =)

So, the solution to all my problems manifested out of the ether.
Now I have to keep hustling to make sure I stay ahead of the game!
A strange thing happened, though.
Even in the midst of the hardest stuff, I never really got upset, always felt calm. But even now, in the midst of everything turning around my way, I still just feel calm.
I guess there's nothing wrong with calm!
I shot All About You Episode 9: Patience and it is processing now. I'll set it to upload before bed.
I have to admit, I kind of took my eye off the ball over the last week or so working to put out fires. I am back in the game and won't lose it again.
I have 7 big hills to climb (Although if you're counting, I think doing All About You counts as my Web Series; 1 down, 6 to go!)
Victory is assured! =)

Mahashivaratri (for my Hindu Brothers and Sisters)
12 February 2010: This year the festival of Mahashivaratri is observed on 12th February, 2010 throughout India in honour of Lord Shiva one of the Hindu Gods forming the trinity, Brahma and Vishnu being the other two. Mahashivaratri literally means ‘the grand night dedicated to the worship of Shiva.’ According to the Hindu calendar, Mahashivaratri is celebrated every year on the 13th or the 14th night of the new moon during the dark fortnight or waning moon (Krishna Paksha) in the month of Phalgun. The festival is observed for one day and one night.
There are a number of legends associated with the Mahashivaratri festival. According to one of the most popular legends, Mahashivaratri is the wedding day of Lord Shiva and Parvati. However, many devotees believe that Mahashivaratri is the night when Lord Shiva performed the Tandava Dance - the dance of primordial creation, preservation and destruction. According to another popular legend, described in Linga Purana, it was on Mahashivaratri that Lord Shiva manifested himself in the form of a Linga for the first time. Since then, the day is considered to be extremely auspicious by the devotees of Lord Shiva and they celebrate it as Mahashivaratri - the grand night of Shiva.
Another popular legend associated with Mahashivaratri is related to the great mythical churning of the ocean called Samudra Manthan. According to the Puranas, during the churning of the ocean, there emerged a pot of poison. The gods and the demons were terrified as it could destroy the entire world. When they approached Lord Shiva for help, he, in order to protect the world, drank the deadly poison. However, he held it in his throat instead of swallowing it. This turned his throat blue. Since then he came to be known as ’Nilkantha’, the blue-throated one. Mahashivaratri celebrates this event by which Lord Shiva saved the world.
Whatever the legends are, Mahashivaratri has been celebrated with great religious fervour by the devotees of Lord Shiva throughout India. All temples dedicated to Lord Shiva are decorated. On Mahashivaratri, devotees wake up early in the morning and take bath and observe strict fast. Many people have only fruits and milk, while some do not consume even a drop of water. Worshippers scrupulously follow all the traditions and customs related to Mahashivaratri festival, as they strongly believe that sincere worship of Lord Shiva, on the auspicious day releases a person of his sins and also liberates him from the cycle of birth and death.
The worship of Lord Shiva continues the whole day and whole night. Many devotees observe night long vigil (Jaagran) in temples, where they sing hymns and devotional songs in praise of Lord Shiva. The Shiva Linga is worshipped throughout the night by washing it every three hours with milk, curd, honey, rose water, etc., whilst the chanting of the Mantra "Om Namah Shivaya" continues. Offerings of Bael leaves are made to the Linga as Bael leaves are considered very sacred and it is said that Goddess Lakshmi resides in them. In the morning devotees break their fast by taking the prasad offered to Lord Shiva.
Mahashivaratri has a special significance to women. The married women consider the Mahashivaratri festival as auspicious and pray for the well being of their husbands and sons. On the other hand, unmarried women pray for an ideal husband like Lord Shiva, who is the spouse of Kali, Parvati and Durga. But generally it is believed that anyone who utters the name of Lord Shiva during Mahashivaratri with pure devotion is freed from all sins. He or she reaches the abode of Shiva and is liberated from the cycle of birth and death.

Best Life 2010 Day 41: The Muse is singing
I feel like I am ready to do some more creative writing; maybe write another book. I am starting to make some notes, to get the ball rolling.
The way I finished my last book was I just sat down and did it. I didn't get too hung up in planning (like I usually do); I just let it flow.
And when I think back, when I wrote my short stories I did it the same way; I just punched them out.
Maybe that is just my own subconscious trying to give me an outlet, since most of the stuff I deal with every day is pretty intense!
I am glad to be alive!
I am glad that my work is having a positive impact. I am glad for all the opportunities in front of me.
Everything is proceeding according to plan. =)

The Shipwrecked Impostor (Aesop's Fables)
The shipwrecked Chimpanzee had been clinging for a long time to a
slender spar, when a Dolphin came up and offered to carry him
ashore. This kind proposition was immediately accepted, and, as they
moved along, the Chimp commenced to tell the Fish many marvelous
tales, every one of them a bundle of falsehoods. "Well, well, you
are indeed an educated chap," said the Dolphin in admiration. "My
schooling has been sadly neglected, as I went to sea when but a week
old." Just then they entered a large bay, and the Dolphin, referring
to it, said, "I suppose you know Herring Roads?" The chimp, taking
this for the name of a fellow, and not wishing to appear ignorant,
replied: "Do I know Rhodes? Well, I should almost think so! He's an
old college chum of mine, and related to our family by-" This was
too much for the Dolphin, who immediately made a great leap, and
then diving quickly, left the impostor in the air for an instant
before he splashed back and disappeared.

Best Life 2010 Day 40: Forty Days and Forty Nights
So this is how long I would have been on Noah's Ark, hmmm...
A good day. As of this exact second, I can't get online which is kinda a drag; if both of my machines weren't having the problem, I'd be going nuts right now trying to figure out the problem. I'll take it as a sign that I am supposed to bed down early tonight.
So over the last two days I've had people calling me out of the blue asking me to get back into the Insurance work, and with assorted 'unlimited earning income opportunities', lol. As I said yesterday, I think (remember: I don't re-read my blog entries) I have lots of things I can do to make money but only one thing I WANT to do.
But, I'm working on releasing that; I set some very lofty financial goals (1 million in now...5 months) so I will have to make several VERY big moves between here and there to make it, so I won't turn my nose up at anything!
I also had to get my car worked on today, and they charged me half the amount quoted; the Universe comes through for me again!
I've really appreciated all the nice comments people made on my pictures. I don't think it's any secret that my ego likes it when people say nice things about me. =)

The Boy and the Nettles (Aesop's Fables)
A BOY was stung by a Nettle. He ran home and told his Mother,
saying, "Although it hurts me very much, I only touched it
gently." "That was just why it stung you," said his Mother. "The
next time you touch a Nettle, grasp it boldly, and it will be
soft as silk to your hand, and not in the least hurt you."
Whatever you do, do with all your might.

Best Life 2010 Day 39: The Sun Also Rises!
(Last try with Ping.FM here, sorry if it posts 3 times!)
VICTORY!
I managed to solve all my pressing problems!!!!
I apologize if it seemed like I was getting depressed, I wasn't; but I wanted to be open with you about everything that goes through my head. It is my hope, as I continue on my journey to the top that something I say or do will help make the way a little easier for you in the future, too.
I had an interesting lunch meeting today; it looks like I won't be completely free from the Insurance business anytime soon. It still doesn't excite me; I have a few things coming that don't excite me.
BUT
They do have the earning potential to reach my goals, so in that I need to buckle down and hit it.
And, I got some professional portraits taken today; let me know what you think:

Best Life 2010 Day 38: Keyword ? Vulnerability
So, you know I tell you things I normally wouldn't say to anyone.
I mean, it's not secret that I am a pretty positive guy. And when I get triggered like anyone else, I just sort through it in my own mind with the tools at my disposal. But yesterday, I admitted that I am a little frustrated.
And, out of that I got a lot of good pointers from people on how I can improve! So the moral of that story is, ask for help when you need it and it comes. You'd think I would have more of a handle on that, after writing an article about accepting help when you need it:
http://ping.fm/gYK4C
On the bright side, I went to watch the Super Bowl with some friends; a hell of a game! The Saints pulled out all the stops even when they were down, and triumphed.
All this is yet another step in my progression; an interesting few pages in the story of my life. =)

Best Life 2010 Day 37: Trust in the Force, I do.
This is the first time I am spreading this blog out to Tumblr, Wordpress, and a few other sites. All the previous entries can be found at blog.peacelovemoney.com
I am going through a challenging period.
And ways of 'fixing' it have popped into my mind, but for some reason something in me tells me not to do it. Strangely enough, it doesn't bother me.
You may recall that in December of last year, I made a vow never to worry again. To trust God in all things, at all times, no matter what. And while I've stayed emotionally calm, I must admit many things have started to unravel. Actually, only one thing has started to unravel: my career and finances.
So many things I used to do to make money no longer appeal to me; all I want to do is this. Be online helping people; spreading the word, making a difference. And yet, I am not seeing the revenues from my website www.peacelovemoney.com (shameless plug) to meet my family's needs.
That is why I've asked people to start reposting the videos or articles that make a difference for them; I figure the more people see my work, the more people I can help, and the more potential I have for helping myself in the process.
In the end, I can only do what I can do and trust God to sort out the rest. I must say though, the clock is ticking; I am VERY interested to see what is going to happen next!

The Ant and the Chrysalis (Aesop's Fables)
An Ant nimbly running about in the sunshine in search of food came
across a Chrysalis that was very near its time of change. The
Chrysalis moved its tail, and thus attracted the attention of the Ant,
who then saw for the first time that it was alive. "Poor, pitiable
animal!" cried the Ant disdainfully. "What a sad fate is yours!
While I can run hither and thither, at my pleasure, and, if I wish,
ascend the tallest tree, you lie imprisoned here in your shell, with
power only to move a joint or two of your scaly tail." The Chrysalis
heard all this, but did not try to make any reply. A few days after,
when the Ant passed that way again, nothing but the shell remained.
Wondering what had become of its contents, he felt himself suddenly
shaded and fanned by the gorgeous wings of a beautiful Butterfly.
"Behold in me," said the Butterfly, "your much-pitied friend! Boast
now of your powers to run and climb as long as you can get me to
listen." So saying, the Butterfly rose in the air, and, borne along
and aloft on the summer breeze, was soon lost to the sight of the
Ant forever.
"Appearances are deceptive."

Avaricious (Greedy) and Envious - Aesop's Fables
Two neighbours came before Jupiter and prayed him to grant
their hearts' desire. Now the one was full of avarice, and the
other eaten up with envy. So to punish them both, Jupiter granted
that each might have whatever he wished for himself, but only on
condition that his neighbour had twice as much. The Avaricious
man prayed to have a room full of gold. No sooner said than done;
but all his joy was turned to grief when he found that his
neighbour had two rooms full of the precious metal. Then came the
turn of the Envious man, who could not bear to think that his
neighbour had any joy at all. So he prayed that he might have one
of his own eyes put out, by which means his companion would become
totally blind.
Vices are their own punishment.

The Ass and the Lapdog (Aesop's Fables)
A MAN had an Ass, and a Maltese Lapdog, a very great beauty. The
Ass was left in a stable and had plenty of oats and hay to eat,
just as any other Ass would. The Lapdog knew many tricks and was
a great favorite with his master, who often fondled him and
seldom went out to dine without bringing him home some tidbit to
eat. The Ass, on the contrary, had much work to do in grinding
the corn-mill and in carrying wood from the forest or burdens
from the farm. He often lamented his own hard fate and
contrasted it with the luxury and idleness of the Lapdog, till at
last one day he broke his cords and halter, and galloped into his
master's house, kicking up his heels without measure, and
frisking and fawning as well as he could. He next tried to jump
about his master as he had seen the Lapdog do, but he broke the
table and smashed all the dishes upon it to atoms. He then
attempted to lick his master, and jumped upon his back. The
servants, hearing the strange hubbub and perceiving the danger of
their master, quickly relieved him, and drove out the Ass to his
stable with kicks and clubs and cuffs. The Ass, as he returned
to his stall beaten nearly to death, thus lamented: "I have
brought it all on myself! Why could I not have been contented to
labor with my companions, and not wish to be idle all the day
like that useless little Lapdog!"

Androcles (Aesop's Fables)
A slave named Androcles once escaped from his master and fled
to the forest. As he was wandering about there he came upon a
Lion lying down moaning and groaning. At first he turned to flee,
but finding that the Lion did not pursue him, he turned back and
went up to him. As he came near, the Lion put out his paw, which
was all swollen and bleeding, and Androcles found that a huge
thorn had got into it, and was causing all the pain. He pulled
out the thorn and bound up the paw of the Lion, who was soon able
to rise and lick the hand of Androcles like a dog. Then the Lion
took Androcles to his cave, and every day used to bring him meat
from which to live. But shortly afterwards both Androcles and the
Lion were captured, and the slave was sentenced to be thrown to
the Lion, after the latter had been kept without food for several
days. The Emperor and all his Court came to see the spectacle,
and Androcles was led out into the middle of the arena. Soon the
Lion was let loose from his den, and rushed bounding and roaring
towards his victim. But as soon as he came near to Androcles he
recognised his friend, and fawned upon him, and licked his hands
like a friendly dog. The Emperor, surprised at this, summoned
Androcles to him, who told him the whole story. Whereupon the
slave was pardoned and freed, and the Lion let loose to his native
forest.
Gratitude is the sign of noble souls.

the Lion, after the latter had been kept without food for several

The Bat and the Weasels (Aesop's Fables)
A Bat who fell upon the ground and was caught by a Weasel pleaded to be spared his life. The Weasel refused, saying that he was by nature the enemy of all birds. The Bat assured him that he was not a bird, but a mouse, and thus was set free. Shortly afterwards the Bat again fell to the ground and was caught by another Weasel, whom he likewise entreated not to eat him. The Weasel said that he had a special hostility to mice. The Bat assured him that he was not a mouse, but a bat, and thus a second time escaped.
It is wise to turn circumstances to good account.
